Pakistan is facing a political crisis. The country's prime minister, Imran Khan, faced a no-confidence vote in Parliament this weekend that he was set to lose. It would have effectively kicked him out of office... So Khan sought to dissolve the legislature while the deputy speaker – a member of his own party – stopped the vote.

The country is in constitutional turmoil and it's unclear how this will play out. Here's a closer look at the man fighting for his political future.

2020 brought a newly revitalized focus to the connections of sports and activism, but for WNBA champion and Olympic medalist Tina Charles, this year simply amplified her ongoing commitment to social justice and activism. Queens born and raised, Charles' support for the Black Lives Matter movement received national attention in 2016 and she is the founder of non-profit organization Hopey’s Heart. Just this fall she partnered with Queens-based community organization Together We Can to provide diapers and food to families in need. Charles, whose WNBA career has included a stint on New York Liberty, will discuss her perspective as a New Yorker, her basketball career, and her activism with historian Theresa Runstedtler.

How U.S. & Israeli Attorneys Have Handled Political Scandal | NBC News NOW

The best way to make impactful art or be a true ally for a cause is to explore your own challenges with being a better person. We must understand the importance of discerning what we have been taught to think and what we believe based on our own value system. We will also look at literature on personal growth and leadership. Next, we must alter our thoughts and actions to better align with the vision we have for change. This is where we will look at social change campaigns and challenge their effectiveness, then look at deleting old prejudices we have about ourselves and others to understand the importance of being genuine when trying to influence positive change. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Thabo Chinake is a gender equity advocate and graduate from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Thabo is passionate about gender issues and has volunteered with numerous organizations including Calgary Pride parade and Students Against Domestic Abuse Association (SADAA). From "Legend"

lyrics:

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:")

Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou:"

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry!"
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry!
"'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry!
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, oh no!
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find your trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” Official Video

The Redemption Song video was created by French artists Octave Marsal & Theo De Gueltzl. Marsal & De Gueltzl’s breathtaking animation, featuring 2747 original drawings, uses powerful symbols to amplify the magnitude of the song’s timeless lyrics and importance in today’s world. The video highlights Bob’s contribution to the empowerment of black civilization, as well as his manifestation of hope and recovery for all mankind. Inspired by Bob’s homeland of Jamaica, as well as insights received from his family, the artistic approach was to illustrate the imaginary world of Bob Marley in a way that highly stimulates self-reflection.

During the presidency of Lula Da Silva, billions of dollars in bribes were taken to allow construction companies to overcharge the government-owned oil company, Petrobras. Now, Brazil has corruption, but it's actually pretty good for a developing country. But the people of Brazil have come to expect more, and they have been left down.

Current president, Dilma Rousseff, was chairwoman of Petrobras during the period of corruption, but no one knows whether Lula or Dilma were involved or aware. But Lula was under investigation before Rousseff appointed him to be her chief of staff, a move that means he can no longer be prosecuted by a normal court.

I think this whole thing speaks very highly of Brazil. A reckoning had to come, and I'm pleased the citizens are holding the government accountable. However, I can't stop seeing parallels between the awful partisan situation here in the U.S. and the lack of skepticism people in this story have when it comes to believing awful things about their political opponents.

Using this scandal to clean up Brazil must be done, but using it to score political points or gain power is going to rip the country apart.

This is an epic story, and no one knows where it ends. Whether Rousseff retains power and who gets elected once the house is fully cleaned out will say a lot about how this very young democracy handles its economic and cultural growth when people's perceptions are controlled largely by social media.

I think there are many good things in Brazil's future, but leaders will have to do more than fight for power. They will have to actually lead.
