We have launched an online course on how to bring almost any 3D character to life, whether it is a person, a robot, or even a jellyfish. Hurry to enroll in Rigging and Animation in Cinema 4D:
https://motiondesign.school/co....urses/rigging-animat

If you want to animate characters without leaving near and dear Cinema 4D, you are in the right place. In this course, you will learn how to create a rig that can be quickly and easily animated manually or automatically.

Whatever character you have, whether it is a person or a robot, a centipede or a jellyfish, understanding the basics of rigging together with simulations, xPresso, and a bit of Maths will make you practically almighty. We will start simple, with questions: Do you need a rig at all? What cases do require it? And when can you avoid it substituting it with clusters, vertex maps, and deformers? After that, we will gradually proceed from using Cinema 4D’s standard systems to creating our own ones.

This course is for those who have very recently discovered Cinema 4D. You should be prepared that rigging requires a high level of concentration as well as some experience in working with 3D.

This short film takes place 69 million years ago in Cretaceous Alaska and follows a mother Troodon as she and her brood try to survive the coldest and most desperate times of the year.

This is the second short film in my "Dinosauria Animated Series" and is probably my favourite of the collection. This particular film has a lot of far-fetched speculative ideas when it comes to dinosaur behaviour and appearance, but that really doesn't hurt my opinion of it in the slightest. I love the pacing, atmosphere, dinosaur designs, and storytelling. This short film was also just a blast to make and I'm really happy with it! :D
Hope you all enjoy it as well.

「Purple Sky」
Music & Lyrics : NOA / SUNNY BOY

染まってゆく Purple Sky

思い通りにならない
一歩前にふめずに I kept on falling, I kept on falling yeah
そんな時に差し伸べてくれた
君の手の温もりは warm yeah, you kept me whole yeah

今感じてるこの思い
忘れないように抱きしめて
一瞬でもこぼしたくない
Picking up all of 溢れる love
これから

No matter what happens to you and I
そばにいれば必ず全て乗り越えていけると思うんだ
No matter where you are we'll touch the sky
果てしない旅を続けたい
この手を離さずに just stay right here by my side

染まってゆく Purple Sky
染まってゆく Purple Sky

紫色に染まってゆく空は
君と馴染んだ
今度は僕の番でこの声が
枯れてもこの歌を歌い続けるよ

僕らの夢の先を
今度は僕が見せるよ
君を強く抱きしめて
Giving you all of 溢れる love
これから

No matter what happens to you and I
僕が君を守るよ
強くなれるために
I'll stay right here by your side
No matter where we are we'll find the light
照らし合う僕らの未来
君に見せたいから just stay right here by my side

As Kansas City Fedra drove the infected underground, the unfortunate consequence of doing that was isolating the infection and allowing for the cordyceps to form new variants of their controlled. This results in something known as a bloater. This creature towers above the rest and possesses strength beyond the regular infected as well. But why is that exactly? Lets discuss that in todays episode along with Ellies immunity!

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved and be loved?

Don't let them fool ya,
Or even try to school ya! Oh, no!
We've got a mind of our own,
So go to hell if what you're thinking is not right!
Love would never leave us alone,
A-yin the darkness there must come out to light.

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! - and be loved?

(The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too,
So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you)
Love your brotherman!
(Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?)

Don't let them change ya, oh! -
Or even rearrange ya! Oh, no!
We've got a life to live.
They say: only - only -
Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive -
Stay alive! Eh!

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! - and be loved?

(You ain't gonna miss your water until your well runs dry;
No matter how you treat him, the man will never be satisfied.)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! Say something!
(Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! Say something! (Say something!)
Say something! Say something! (Could you be loved?)
Say something! Say something! Reggae, reggae!
Say something! Rockers, rockers!
Say something! Reggae, reggae!
Say something! Rockers, rockers!
Say something! (Could you be loved?)
Say something! Uh!
Say something! Come on!
Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?)

There's a new Spider-Man on the block, and his name is Miles Morales. And to go along with the fresh face, the filmmakers created a whole new style of animation that really brings him to life.

In the video we incorrectly refer to a character as Spider-Pig, when the character's name is Spider-Ham.

How 'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' Was Animated | Movies Insider

Tech advancements have allowed Disney to go from more static environments in its earliest computer-animated movies to a living, breathing landscape in “Strange World” (2022). This new setting has a level of movement, texture, dimension, and scale that would have been unthinkable 17 years ago, when Disney made its first foray into full computer animation with “Chicken Little” (2005). Since then, Disney has expanded its tool set with each successive film to create landscapes that feel just as alive as the characters.

For the storybook setting of “Tangled” (2010), the environment artists created new tree-modeling and growth tools to help them build art-directed forests at scale. For the even more highly stylized vegetation in “Frozen” (2013), Disney developed a full vegetation tool to create not just trees but bushes, foliage, and plants, all in very specific and artistically guided shapes.

Having mastered these organic environments, the studio took on the challenge of a densely packed, lights-filled urban setting in “Big Hero 6” (2014). To handle the hundreds of thousands of lights in the city of San Fransokyo, Disney’s engineers built a powerful new renderer that could work with several million rays of light at once.

The island environments of “Moana” (2016) drove Disney to find new ways to simulate water, lava, sand, mud, and foam, improvements that laid the groundwork for more ocean simulation in “Frozen II” (2019), while the Southeast Asian settings of “Raya and the Last Dragon” (2021) pushed Disney to revamp how it creates atmospheric elements like fog and mist.

With all these tools, the team on “Strange World” had to balance creating an interactive, dynamic environment with a life of its own and staying true to the story-first principle of the classic Disney movies. To strike this careful balance, the filmmakers used a new animation pipeline and tools like camera lenses, editing, and sound design to make sure their world always supported — never distracted from — the characters’ emotional journeys.

We spoke with “Strange World” VFX supervisor Steve Goldberg, head of environments Larry Wu, animated environments supervisor Ben Fiske, and editor Sarah Reimers to find out how they did it.
