"Every war is a war against children.”
~ Eglantyne Jebb

September 21 is ‘World Peace Day’, declared by the UN as the day for all humanity across the world to commit to Peace. And with what is going on in the world right now, we just wanted to do our bit and bring everyone’s attention to the children of our world through this film, who deserve every bit of safety and peace that we adults can provide them with.

Collie Buddz releases his latest single "Take It Easy", encouraging listeners to relax and live in the moment. The laid-back, reggae-infused track provides classic Collie Buddz vibes, with a catchy chorus and relatable lyrics. Too often we get caught up in the hustle & bustle of everyday life, and this song is a refreshing reminder to slow down and take some time out for yourself. "The song came together naturally" explains Buddz, who co-produced the riddim with Jason "J-Vibe" Farmer (keys), alongside bandmates Shawn "Mista Roots" Mitchell (bass), Ronny Gutierrez (guitar) & Noah Cronin of Sea Major Seven Studios on the drums. "Our day to day lives are so hectic, and if we don't take a step back once in a while we jeopardize missing out on the most important moments." Promising a new album later this year, for now fans can enjoy "Take It Easy" available on all major streaming platforms.

The best way to make impactful art or be a true ally for a cause is to explore your own challenges with being a better person. We must understand the importance of discerning what we have been taught to think and what we believe based on our own value system. We will also look at literature on personal growth and leadership. Next, we must alter our thoughts and actions to better align with the vision we have for change. This is where we will look at social change campaigns and challenge their effectiveness, then look at deleting old prejudices we have about ourselves and others to understand the importance of being genuine when trying to influence positive change. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Thabo Chinake is a gender equity advocate and graduate from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Thabo is passionate about gender issues and has volunteered with numerous organizations including Calgary Pride parade and Students Against Domestic Abuse Association (SADAA). As a hip-hop and spoken word artist under the stage name KTheChosen, Thabo uses his platform to talk about social issues and promote introspective conversations within different communities. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx

Lyrics:

[Intro: Barbie & Ken]
Hiya, Barbie
Hi, Ken
Do you wanna go for a ride?
Sure, Ken
Jump in

[Chorus: Barbie & Ken]
I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation
Come on, Barbie, let's go party

[Chorus: Barbie & Ken]
I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation

[Verse 1: Barbie & Ken]
I'm a blonde bimbo girl in a fantasy world
Dress me up, make me tight, I'm your dolly
You're my doll, rock and roll, feel the glamor in pink
Kiss me here, touch me there, hanky-panky

[Bridge: Barbie]
You can touch, you can play
If you say I'm always yours
Ooh woo

[Chorus: Barbie]
I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation

[Breakdown: Barbie & Ken]
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ah, ah, ah, yeah
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ooh, ooh
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ah, ah, ah, yeah
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ooh, ooh

[Verse 2: Barbie & Ken]
Make me walk, make me talk, do whatever you please
I can act like a star, I can beg on my knees
Come jump in, bimbo friend, let us do it again
Hit the town, fool around, let's go party

[Bridge: Barbie]
You can touch, you can play
If you say I'm always yours
You can touch, you can play
If you say I'm always yours

[Breakdown: Barbie & Ken]
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ah, ah, ah, yeah
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ooh, ooh
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ah, ah, ah, yeah
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ooh, ooh

[Chorus: Barbie]
I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation
I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation

[Breakdown: Barbie & Ken]
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ah, ah, ah, yeah
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ooh, ooh
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ah, ah, ah, yeah
Come on Barbie, let's go party
Ooh, ooh

[Outro: Barbie & Ken]
Oh, I'm having so much fun
Well Barbie, we're just getting started
Oh, I love you Ken
